Despite its name, which translates to “Straightforward Lottery,” Lotofácil is not the Brazilian lottery with the highest probability of hitting all the numbers. It ranks behind “Dia de Sorte” and the Loteria Federal in terms of odds, according to recent reports. Players can choose between 15 and 20 numbers on a ticket, with the minimum bet costing R$3.50.
Lotofácil draws are conducted from Monday to Saturday. Wagers can be placed in person at lottery retailers or online through the official website or application, available for both Android and iOS devices. The odds of winning the top prize with a simple bet of R$3.50 are approximately one in 3,268,760.
Caixa, the federal savings bank of Brazil, is currently preparing for seven lottery draws this Saturday, with a total prize pool exceeding R$101.8 million. The Mega-Sena contest 2663 has accumulated a prize of R$7 million, even as the Mega-Sena draw 2.459 offers a prize of R$90 million after no one correctly guessed all six numbers.
