At the beginning of the war, we were quite involved here in taking a position, and mainly in interpretations of the position taken by various fashion brands in relation to the situation. Now, months after the October seven, a new affair is stirring, centered on the elite fashion brand Louis Vuitton.

At the center of the storm this time is a white Vuitton t-shirt, from the new collection. “This t-shirt is casual and comfortable for everyday styling,” the product description reads, “made of soft jersey cotton and designed in a straight and casual cut.” The controversial shirt, for those who are interested, is priced at about NIS 2,500.

On the side of the shirt are emblazoned the letters of the brand’s logo, this time in white, black, green and red colors – which echoes, according to many surfers, a clear support for Palestine. Photos of the controversial shirt began to be published online and the reactions soon poured in.

On Vuitton’s Instagram page, you can already get an impression of the storm that the shirt created. “An ugly display of anti-Semitism,” one commenter wrote, and another asked: “Is supporting terrorism the new trend of the season?” One of them will sew a Star of David patch.”
