Love after love and División Palermo lead the nominations for the Cóndor Awards for best series

The Association of Cinematographic Chroniclers of Argentina (ACCA) revealed this Monday the nominations for the Silver Condor Awards for national series. The love after Love y Palermo Division, both from Netflix, are the favorites for the award, with 20 nominations each. The next most nominated are December, 2001 from Star+ and The end of love from Amazon Prime Video.

The Silver Condor Awards are the awards that the ACCA has given to Argentine cinema since 1943. But in 2022, the Association decided to create a special award for the production of series that has grown so much in recent years. The ceremony will be on October 9 in the Argentine Room of the Kirchner Cultural Center.


The love after Love is the series that tells the life story of Fito Páez. It premiered on Netflix this year, has eight episodes and was directed by Felipe Gómez Aparicio and Gonzalo Tobal. Iván Hochman played Fito Páez, Micaela Riera played Fabiana Cantilo, Campi played Fito’s father and Andy Chango played Charly García.

Palermo Division is a comedy series that also premiered on Netflix this year. It is created and stars Santiago Korovsky and the story revolves around a group of people from different social minorities who together form a neighborhood protection guard. Among other great actors, Pilar Gamboa, Daniel Hendler, Iar Said, Martín Garabal and Charo López are part of the cast.


In addition to these, the third season of The bronze garden (HBO Max), starring Joaquín Furriel, and the second of The kingdom (Netflix), with Diego Peretti. It also received nominations. The one in charge (Star+), starring Guillermo Francella, and the documentary series Be eternal (Netflix) that tells the story of the Argentine team’s path to winning the Copa América 2021.

In the first edition of these awards in 2022, the most awarded production was Santa Evita with nine statuettes, Iosi, the repentant spy with six and Porn and ice cream with four. The BA Audiovisual Audience Award went to The Marginal.
