The defender Luis Casanova used their social networks to publish a farewell letter to the University of Chile, club where he played in the last four years.
“I want to thank the fans for their unconditional support.“, published Casanova, also dedicating words to Rodrigo Goldberg and Sergio Vargaswho were in charge of signing him in 2020.
“A cycle closes in a way I did not expectbut I think it is the right time to do it, before forcing a situation,” added Casanova, without giving more details about the relationship with the club.

Casanova’s letter was accompanied with photographs from when he signed his contract, in January 2020, until his last season, where he was a permanent pillar of the defense and captain of the team.
