Singer Luis Miguel will not attend his daughter Michelle Salas’ wedding due to “work commitments.”
Salas, who got engaged to her boyfriend, Danilo Díaz, last May, opened up to the media about how she feels knowing that her father will not be there on such an important day.
“I believe that my family is always there in heart and soul, many times you cannot be there in person,” explained the first-born daughter of the famous artist.
When asked who would take her to the altar, the 34-year-old woman did not respond. However, she mentioned: “What matters most is having my father’s support and affection, even from afar.”
Although the ‘Sol de México’ was expected to be present at the ceremony, a member of the singer’s staff revealed that the tour cannot be paused due to legal issues.
Contrary to speculation that the celebration would take place in the United States, Puerto Rico or Spain, where the engaged couple reside, Salas announced that it will actually be in Italy.
On the other hand, the daughter of the ‘La unconditional’ singer also spoke about her father’s new image.
“He looks very good, doesn’t he? He looks skinny, but he is in good health and with a lot of energy,” Michelle commented to several journalists.
