The 15-year-old girl from San Juan was a student at the Escuela Modelo and a hockey player at the Amancay club in that province. She left messages of encouragement and resilience to her more than three thousand subscribers. The life of “Luji” went viral when she herself decided to tell her story and how she was going through her disease through what she liked the most: recording videos.
The last post on the “lujicool” channel was two weeks ago and was titled “my day”. In said publication, the young woman from San Juan showed herself with a constant smile and contagious joy. In the different passages of the post, Luji appeared singing “No se ve” by Emilia Mernes and joking with breakfast: “It doesn’t look like much, but they brought me scrambled eggs that I haven’t eaten for months.”
With her characteristic joy through different posts, she shared musical themes, moments of walking inside the hospital and presented different nurses who visited her and controlled her values. In different publications, Luján shared images of his “Dream Team”, as the young woman defined the medical team that accompanied her every day.

One of the first posts came from the Amancay club who expressed their “heartfelt regret at this difficult time to the Vallejo and Ortúzar families.” The message concluded with an emotional: “Goodbye penguin warrior María Lujan… Lord give her eternal rest and shine for her the light that has no end, may you rest in peace “.
