Lukas Weißhaidinger Dominates Discus Throwing in Challenging Conditions at Thum Athletics Day

Lukas Weißhaidinger, seventh at the World Championships, won the discus competition on Friday in Thum in the Ore Mountains at the local athletes’ throwing day. The Upper Austrian won with a jump of 63.64 m in the fourth of six attempts. Weißhaidinger jumped 60.85 and 60.94 m in the first and third attempt.
