Lulu to invest in Uganda; The government allotted ten acres of land

Dubai: The Ugandan government has allotted ten acres of land to Lulu Group to set up a food processing logistics center in Uganda. The land was allocated in Enbae, near the capital Kampala, where the country’s only international airport is located. Lulu Group has announced that it will invest a large amount of money in Uganda.

Lulu Group Chairman MA met with the Prime Minister of Uganda, Robina Nabagna, who arrived in the UAE for an official visit. The agreement was reached in the discussion conducted by Yousafali. The Prime Minister has invited Lulu Group to invest in Uganda’s business sector. He assured all support. Lulu Group to invest $100 million in Uganda for food processing and logistics center and other expansion activities Lulu Group Uganda Director George Kootukaran said the new food processing center will be of great benefit to Uganda’s local agriculture sector and farmers. He said that more than eight hundred people will get employment once the new center becomes fully operational.

Lulu Group Uganda Director George Kootukaran and Ugandan Ambassador to the UAE Zake Kibedi were also present.
