The Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP) officially announced the schedule for the 2024-2025 season, detailing that the regular season will run for 56 days, from October 12 to December 21, with a total of 233 games.
The teams will compete in intense matches, seeking to secure their place in the round robin, which will take place between December 26 and January 12, 2025.
On Saturday, October 12, 4 opening games will be held with the following matches:
- Zulia Eagles vs Caracas Lions (Monumental Stadium).
- Anzoategui Caribbeans vs. Aragua Tigers (Jose Perez Colmenares Baseball Stadium).
- Magellan Navigators vs. La Guaira Sharks ((University Stadium)
- Margarita Braves vs Lara Cardinals (Antonio Herrena Gutierrez Stadium).
Classics and tributes
The season will be marked by traditional clashes between the teams, highlighting the duels between Leones del Caracas and Navegantes del Magallanes. In addition, a heartfelt tribute will be paid to the legend of Venezuelan baseball, Vitico Davalillo.
The road to the Caribbean Series
The LVBP champion will have the honor of representing Venezuela in the 2025 Mexicali Caribbean Series. The fight for the title promises to be intense, with the teams giving their maximum effort in each game.
