On June 1, the Laurentian Integrated Health and Social Services Center (CISSSLAU) celebrated the first year of activity of the Ma pregnancy service.

During this first year, 2,122 future mothers from the Laurentians were accompanied during their pregnancy.

Following their registration on the portal, expectant mothers are contacted within 48 hours. Personalized support is then offered to them. In particular, they can receive support in finding a health professional to monitor their pregnancy and be referred to various resources. Services are tailored to the needs of each woman.

The Ma Pregnancy team also works closely with many community organizations, pharmacies and medical clinics in the region with the goal of proactively and caringly supporting future mothers and families in the area.

“The number of women who have benefited from the new service is remarkable and their satisfaction with it is palpable. The women regularly mention their appreciation of the support offered during this important period of their lives. The success of this service during its first year of operation can certainly be attributed to the commitment of the My Pregnancy team,” underlines Rosemonde Landry, President and CEO of the CISSSLAU.
