“We will never leave them alone,” said the former liberal deputy, who hopes to compete in the presidential elections, still without a defined date, despite the disqualification – ratified in January by the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) – that prevents her from holding elected public positions. popular until 2036.

The Vente Venezuela party – led by Machado – assured this Sunday in X that Venezuelans in Spain, the Netherlands and Belgium demanded the “cessation of political persecution and criminalization” in Venezuela and the release of “political prisoners.”

In January, the Government denounced new conspiracies that included plans to assassinate President Nicolás Maduro, for which at least 38 people have been arrested, including three collaborators of Machado and the activist Rocío San Miguel, who, according to her defense, He was the victim of a “forced disappearance.”

The majority opposition, grouped in the Democratic Unitary Platform (PUD), distanced itself from the conspiracies, which Machado, its presidential candidate, has described as “surreal and delusional plots.”

The first vice president of the ruling United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) and number two of Chavismo, Diosdado Cabello, accused this Saturday the opposition of paying people to “make them cannon fodder” and to “generate violence” in the country.
