Macky Sall welcomes the increase in the number of firefighters


Thiès, Feb 10 (APS) – The President of the Republic, Macky Sall, welcomed, on Friday, in Thiès (west), the increase in the staff of the National Brigade of Firefighters (BNSP) which went from 3,100 to 5700 in ten years.

“This upward trend will be maintained thanks to the annual recruitment plan for [recrues] military which is around 600 recruits once morest 150 ten years ago,” said Mr. Sall.

President Sall was speaking at the official inauguration ceremony of the first National School of Firefighters in Senegal.
