macOS Ventura 13.5.1 fixes a bug related to location services

Apple released a small update to macOS Ventura tonight, version 13.5.1. No major upheavals in sight since it simply corrects a bug that appeared in the baggage of version 13.5 affecting the location service. It prevented some users from accessing location permissions for different apps in System Settings.

The section simply no longer displayed a list of applications, which prevented users from refining their preferences for each program. So they mightn’t see which apps had access to their location information, or even disable the service. The issue affected third-party apps as well as Apple’s, and prevented newer software from using such features.

This fix is long overdue, and can now be downloaded to your Mac.
