SBÄM Records and 55 Rose Records are working on a new release for ska-punk legends MAD CADDIES. The first single “Palm Trees And Pines” is released today.
Die MAD CADDIES are one of the leading bands in ska and reggae punk. Her long career has taken her to all corners of the world. Now the time has come for the Caddies to travel to new shores with the release of their new album “Arrows Room 117”, co-released by SBÄM Records (Europe) and 55 Rose Reccords (USA). ‘Arrows Room 117’ is the band’s first album since 2018’s ‘Punk Rocksteady’.
SBÄM has just started their biggest festival to date and work on a 90s punk rock documentary and already has bands like Pulley on their roster. Together with 55 Rose Records, an Orange County music label founded by John Barrett.
“Palm Trees & Pines” is a classic feel-good number from the Caddies that “demonstrably gets the kids moving,” according to the band. The timeless melodies and dynamic rhythmic beats make it a sure candidate for the first single from Arrows Room 117.
“Palms and Pines encompasses everything I hold dear about California.”says singer and band founder Chuck Robertson. “This album is very personal for me”, Robertson continues. “It represents 3 years of hard work in the woodshed while half the world stood still. During this strange time, I tapped into a new source of creativity and shared new experiences with new friends and great musicians. This work and these songs show pain and betrayal, love and loss and the bright light of new beginnings.”
“Arrows Room 117” will be released in 2024 on SBÄM and 55 Rose Records.
