Madinah: The Masjid al-Nabawi’s office has suspended the permit to visit Rawda in Masjid al-Nabawi from the 27th of Ramadan until the 2nd of Shawwal, to ensure the safety of visitors and worshipers, and to create a conducive environment for all.
Excellent facilities and services are provided for visitors and worshipers. Hundreds of thousands of visitors came to pray at Masjidunnabavi during Ramadan and to visit Rawda. Increased congestion is experienced during prayers.
In previous years, entry to Rouda was suspended during Eid. This time too, Rouda’s visit was suspended. A statement from the Masjid al-Nabawi’s office said:
