With the participation of nearly 700 older adults from the 13 Day Centers, the Mayor’s Office of Madrid celebrated the Municipal Reign of Older Adults
With comparsas, parades and artistic presentations, nearly 700 participants from the 13 Day Centers joined this activity, which is intended to promote integration spaces for all the inhabitants of Madrid.
On this occasion, María del Carmen Carvajal of the San Carlos Day Center was chosen to represent the municipality in the Provincial Reign of Sabana Occidente, which will take place on September 5.

Before the event, Mayor Andrés Tovar Forero reiterated his Government’s full commitment to continue supporting all programs for the elderly, which include deliveries of nutritional packages, sports endowments, educational and recreational activities, and health support, among others. ; this as dignity of the elderly population in recognition of their contributions in the construction of society.
