President Nicolás Maduro called for a national consultation on communal projects this Saturday.

During a work day at the Bicentennial Fair Complex in Barquisimeto, Lara state, the president called for a national consultation on Sunday, August 25. In this consultation, the country’s infrastructure projects will be chosen.

The projects will be chosen by the 4,500 communal circuits in the country, according to the president. “I have the date for the next consultation… To select the next project that you should work on from now on.”, express Maduro.

“Democracy, elections, People’s Power” added the president, who assured that these consultations will be carried out every three months. “I don’t want bureaucrats or technocrats getting involved in this, this is the power of the grassroots.“, he added.
