For several months, the DJ sets of the painter Mae “Day” Markl (@mae_markl) at the Pigalle Country Club have become the unmissable meeting place for all the interloping fauna of the district. If his paintings are inspired by the Italian Renaissance and Greek mythology, his sets mischievously cohabit The Birthday Party and Grace Jones’ “Cannibal Corpse”, or even The Sisters of Mercy, with his latest electro find. You are invited to his next appearance at the PCC (59 Rue Jean-Baptiste Pigalle, 75009), Friday July 7, from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Black attire strongly encouraged.
