Maggie Rogers has confirmed that she has finished writing and recording her third album.
The rising artist announced the news in a Publication Instagramrevealing that the as-yet-untitled sequel from last year Surrender was recorded at Electric Lady Studios in New York.
“It’s an LP3 wrap!!!! she told fans, adding that the album was “written + recorded + unmixed.” Rogers then adds, “So, so, so in love with these songs and I can’t wait to start playing them for you this summer. »
The singer-songwriter will present some of his new songs on a headlining tour of North America entitled “Summer of ’23 Tour”, which will include stops at prestigious locations such as the Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado and the hollywood bowl in Los Angeles.
Beginning July 24 in Charlotte, North Carolina, the 12-city “Summer of ’23 Tour” will continue through September 29 in Washington, DC. Singer-songwriter Soccer Mommy will join Rogers for the first half of the tour, while Canadian indie-pop icons Alvvays will support the second half.
Rogers’ next flagship race will follow “The Feral Joy Tour”, a sold-out early 2023 release which included stops at Radio City Music Hall in New York, the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, and the Shrine in Los Angeles.
