The Maghreb Fez team qualified for the eighth-final of the Football Throne Cup (season 2022/23), after defeating its counterpart Ittihad Tangier on penalties (3-0), in the match that brought them together yesterday evening, Thursday, on the grounds of the Hassan II Stadium in Fez.

The extra time of the match ended in a two-goal draw, before Morocco-Fez clinched its qualification to the next round on penalties.

The goals for Maghreb Fez were scored by Haitham Aina (52nd minute) and Mohsen Bourika (79th minute), while Zakaria Kayani (40th minute) and Kani Madiki (90th minute) were scored for Ittihad Tangier.

In the match that took place on the field of the Grand Stadium in Marrakesh, the Hassania Agadir team qualified for the same round after defeating its counterpart, Al-Kawkab Marrakesh, which belongs to the second division, by two goals to one.

The goals for Hassania Agadir were scored by Salah Eddine Bahi (28th minute) and Sofiane El Mouden (81st minute), while Hammam Baouch (90+2 minute) scored for Al Kawkab Marrakesh.
