Thiruvananthapuram: On the occasion of Mahakavi Kumaranashan’s death centenary, a literary seminar will be organized tomorrow under the auspices of Priyadarshini Publications. A seminar on Kumaranashan’s poetic life titled ‘Venus Star of Ashan Revolution’ will be held at KPCC headquarters at 3.30 pm by Dr. Congress Working Committee Member. Shashi Tharoor MP will inaugurate. Priyadarshini Publications Vice Chairman Adv. Pazhakulam Madhu will preside over the function.
KPCC General Secretary TU Radhakrishnan, DCC President Palot Ravi, Prof. Malur Muralidharan, Dr. Ajayan Panayera, Dr. Nedumudi Harikumar, Dr. B.S. Balachandran, Dr. Keerthi Vidyasagar and Binny Sahiti will participate. Various competitions for school and college children, national seminar, book exhibitions, publication of textbooks etc. will also be organized as part of the seminar.
