[MàJ] Free is already launching a new update to the Freebox server

In the wake of a first update of its Freebox servers, Free is launching a new one.

After version 4.5.5 launched this afternoon on the Freebox server boxes Revolution, Mini 4K, Pop, Delta and One, Free has just rolled out a new version this evening. Stamped 4.5.5.1, this new firmware has not yet been documented by the operator. It certainly incorporates corrections from the previous version.

To benefit from this new update, simply restart your Freebox Server. If you notice any changes, do not hesitate to share them in the comments of this article.

Update: Free has just specified the contributions of this new update. The developers say that “support for WEP encryption for wifi was no longer functional” and to clarify that they advise ” VERY strongly never to use WEP again (less secure, slower) but rather WPA2 and/or WPA3.”
