The messaging application changes interface. Some users already have access to the new menus.
Users of the WhatsApp messaging application will have to change their habits. Meta has just begun the deployment of a new interface which shakes up a lot of things in the way we interact with the application.
The interface menu, which was formerly located at the very top of the screen, moves to the bottom. It is also entitled to a design overhaul, with Discussion, News, Communities and Calls buttons that are more readable and easier to access as well.
Although this new navigation bar will change everyone’s habits, the functionalities will not change. These are always the same main sections of the application.
As always with Meta, the functionality is rolled out gradually, in successive waves to users. Not everyone is served at the same time. However, we can already confirm that the application is already up to date for certain users in Belgium.
