Major Cocaine Trafficking Operation Leads to Arrest of 8 in Namur – Detailed Report and Seizures

A police operation carried out this Thursday, June 29 by several services of the Namur Capitale Police Zone – Investigations & Research Service, Special Intervention Group and Police Rescue – with the support of the Châtelet Police Zone as well as a dog handler of the Federal Police led to the arrest of 8 people in the territory of Namur, indicate Marc Servais, Public Prosecutor of the Acting King of Namur and Olivier Libois – Head of the Police Zone Namur Capitale

This operation is the result of several months of investigation in the context of trafficking in the sale of narcotics and in particular cocaine.

Several searches were carried out on Namur territory and led to the seizure of 50 pacsons of cocaine, cannabis, worth more than €1,400, as well as two electric scooters.

Of the 8 people arrested, 4 were brought before an investigating judge who placed them under arrest warrant.
