Dubai: Idukki native Ginsi Gerry has also been shortlisted for this year’s Aster Guardians Global Nursing Award. Ginsy is currently working as a nurse at the Mater Misericordia University Hospital in Ireland.
She is the only Malayali in the final list of 10 for the Global Nursing Award. She has been in the field of nursing for 22 years. Jinci’s activities in the field of Covid prevention were much noticed.
10 people were selected for the Global Nursing Award from over 52,000 registrations received from 202 countries. Winners will receive the industry’s largest prize of US$250,000 at a ceremony in London on May 12 on International Nurses Day. Dollars will be accepted.
