Maliha surprises victory in the “Hand Cup”

Surprises continued in the Vice-President’s Handball Cup for men, following Maliha succeeded in defeating Al-Nasr 25-24, in the match that took place in Rashid bin Hamdan Hall in Al-Nasr Club, in the second round of the first group of the preliminary round, and the first half ended in a draw 13-13.
Maliha had previously outperformed Al Wasl 29-26 in the first round, topping the top of the first group with a “full score”, while Al Wasl escaped losing to Dibba Al Hisn, following deciding the match in its favor 35-33, in the match that took place between them in Al Hosn Hall, and the half ended. The first tied 17-17.
Maliha leads the top of the first group with 6 points, followed by Al Wasl “4 points”, Dibba Al Hisn third with the same balance, and Al Nassr fourth and has two points from two losses.
The group matches will end on January 14 with two matches, where Maliha will meet Dibba Al-Hisn in Maliha Hall, and Al-Wasl with Al-Nasr in the Emperor Hall.
On the other hand, Al Ain and Al Jazira will meet in Al Banafseg Hall on Tuesday, in the postponed match between them from the first round of the second group.
