A shy and reserved child, Maliya sang in secret for years. Always passionate regarding music, she took violin and saxophone lessons, and taught herself to play the piano.
In high school, her friends discovered her voice and encouraged her to sing for an end-of-year event: it would be her first performance in front of an audience. Her mother then decides to enroll her in singing competitions to encourage her to take her passion seriously.
Maliya will win 2 national competitions the same year. She meets at the same time a producer, who offers her to be part of a show, which combines dance, singing and humor, and thus signs her first contract at 16 years old.
Today, a singer by profession, she participates in The Voice in order to discover new worlds and above all, to learn from contact with coaches.
