A man was arrested for alleged robbery in a hotel located in the Río de las Avenidas, by elements of the Municipal Security Secretariat, assigned to the Pachuca Traffic and Roads Directorate.

During the trip, the officers attended to a group of people who asked the security elements for support, since there was a man in a hotel who had allegedly robbed the rooms of players from a soccer team.

The people who requested support reported that the alleged perpetrator was presumed to have robbed several times in the different hotels where soccer teams were staying.

His alleged modus operandi was to arrive at the hotels and mention that he is a member of CONCACAF or Liga MX, and states that the team is playing at that moment and that he forgot the key in the soccer stadiums, that they could give him another one to enter their rooms and bring things that these players need.

Under this argument, the hotel employees agree to give him keys to the rooms and the man enters and steals the players’ belongings.

Likewise, the CONCACAF members informed the uniformed officers that they could corroborate before the authorities in charge that there was an arrest warrant for qualified robbery in different states such as Guanajuato, Tlaxcala and Mexico City.

For this reason, someone who said his name was JJVAB, 73 years old, was arrested and placed at the disposal of the corresponding authorities.

The call to citizens is reiterated to contribute with their complaints and reports through the direct number C4 7717110707, 9-1-1 for Emergencies and/or 089 for Anonymous Complaints.
