This Saturday, the Seraing police were called to intervene along the railway line in Seraing, where a suspicious carousel was taking place… A man, well known to the courts, aged 53, was indeed walking along the railway, precisely near a place where regarding ten meters of cables had been cut. According to the Infrabel manager present on site, these cables had been cut with a grinder; a tool that the 50-year-old had in his possession.
Despite his denials (he nevertheless admitted to having stolen the grinder), the fellow was referred to the Liège prosecutor’s office. His file was put under investigation with a request for an arrest warrant.
