**A:** Of course, it’s very satisfying. When we looked at the group,we knew it would be challenging. Barcelona has been at the top for a long time, and there’s a lot of quality in the group. We knew we had a tough task ahead, but we’ve taken it one game at a time, and here we are, leading the group. I’m proud of the players for their efforts.
**Q: Naomi Layzell and Khadija Shaw were instrumental in the impressive win against barcelona. What’s it like having such clinical finishers in your squad?**
**A:** They’re fantastic players. Both Naomi and Khadija bring so much to the team. Their work rate is amazing, and they have the ability to find the back of the net consistently. They’re a real asset to Manchester City.
**Q: Now that you’ve secured qualification for the knockout stages,is finishing top of the group the main focus?**
**A:** Absolutely. Our first goal was to qualify for the knockout stages,and we’ve achieved that.Now our focus is on securing the top position. It would be a great achievement for the club and would give us a better seeding for the knockout phase.
**Q: What do you see as the key challenges ahead for the team as the competition intensifies?**
**A:** Every game from here on out will be challenging. The champions League is a tough competition with many strong teams. We certainly know we need to consistently perform at our best to progress further. We’re ready for the challenge.
