A seriously injured man was found on a street in the Antwerp district of Borgerhout on Friday morning, local police said. An electric scooter was found at the scene, leading the police to favor the theory of a violent fall. An investigation has been opened.
The man was discovered around 5 a.m. by a passerby. The latter immediately notified the emergency services who provided first aid to the victim before transporting him to hospital. His vital prognosis is in jeopardy.
