Vienna – A man held his ex-girlfriend in his apartment in Vienna-Meidling for three days and threatened, abused and raped her. According to police spokesman Daniel Fürst, she was able to escape on Tuesday while the 31-year-old Austrian citizen was shopping. The 33-year-old was taken care of by the professional rescue service and taken to a hospital with numerous injuries.
