A man is missing following the fire at a residence in St-Hubert-de-Rivière-du-Loup, in Bas-Saint-Laurent.
The Sûreté du Québec confirms that searches are underway to locate the resident of the premises.
Emergency services were called around 9:45 p.m. for a fire in a residence on the 3rd row of Sud-du-Lac.
The flames spread throughout the building. Firefighters brought the blaze under control around 2 a.m. last night.
Fire scene technicians will be on site this morning with investigators. Searches began in the rubble of the house.
The causes of the fire are unknown at this time. The investigation continues.
