A man was sentenced to 25 years in prison for sexually abusing his daughter, in the state of Bolívar.
The 17-year-old victim reported to the Bolívar State Police that her father had sexually abused her since she was 15 years old.
The authorities arrested the 38-year-old subject in Caicara del Orinoco, on April 19, 2023.
The investigation showed that the citizen entered the teenager’s room at night to commit the abuse.
The Tenth Prosecutor’s Office of the Public Ministry charged the subject with the crime of continuous sexual violence.
The Third Trial Court handed down the sentence for the accused, who remains detained at the Guaiparo Police Station, in San Félix.
