2023-11-14 19:02:33

The immediate impact on the Westhoek region was not significant, but the situation remains precarious. Locally, the alert thresholds will be exceeded once more overnight and on Wednesday. Therefore, efforts are still being made to maximize the flow of water to the sea. Additional pumping capacity has been put in place at Nieuwpoort. From Tuesday evening a drier period is expected, but following that it will be rainy once more.
