Anthony said scoring in Manchester United’s 4-3 win over Liverpool in the Emirates FA Cup was a huge moment for him.
Anthony, who was brought into the game as a substitute with Manchester United trailing 1-2, came into the game with the away team taking the lead.
With only three minutes remaining in regular time, Anthony turned in the box and scored a right-footed shot into the bottom corner to tie the score at 2-2, and a hectic 30-minute overtime period followed.
This is Anthony’s first goal at Old Trafford in over a year. Anthony, who showed liveliness throughout the game, played as a traditional winger, but ended the game by changing his position to left back.
