Marc Ysaye joins Bel RTL to bring his “classic rock” touch

Marc Ysaye comes out of silence following his departure from Classic 21: “I don’t hide that I have been contacted by RTL in the past… but it’s a rumour”

Marc Ysaye says he is very happy with this new challenge: “I am very happy to join the Bel RTL team. I will continue to give the best of myself. And above all, I will continue to do everything with the utmost seriousness. , without taking me seriously”.

The private radio does not specify which program will present the one who is also the drummer of the Machiavelli group, nor the time slot which has been allocated to him. Frédéric Herbays, new director of radio at RTL Belgium, just indicates that “his musical expertise, his credibility and his talent as a storyteller of the history of rock will very soon strengthen our program offer. This arrival will be the starting point for a new chapter for Marc who we are delighted to welcome to the team.”

Marc Ysaye is not the first retiree from RTBF to try the adventure on the channel opposite. Jean-Claude Defossé had done it on TV in 2015 with the program Dossiers tabous, before a bad fall put an end to the experience. Jacques Mercier also collaborates regularly with Bel RTL.
