Ángel Marcano, regional coordinator of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (Psuv Bolívar), regarding the new legislative period, affirmed that a systematic agenda is beginning in the region, which will allow the renewal of the state constitution, which dates from 2001.
He stressed that this step in the legal update of the region, “is a way to pave the way for the communal State.”
“The great objective of this call is to adapt to the new political, economic and social reality that Venezuela is going through; This new instrument that we are all going to build must be the answer to our great realities”, he mentioned through a press release from the party.
He also referred to the importance of the participation of the private sector, popular power and unions that make life in the region, because it allows opening the compass with different visions before the growth of the state.
Marcano insisted that this fact, which “begins to rewrite the history of the thriving Guayana, must carry the same legislative spirit of the liberator Simón Bolívar, when he began the Congress of Angostura.”
He pointed out that the new constitution of the Bolívar state must incorporate in the harmonious development of the axes of the area, such as public services, mining, tourism, and new roads for the community state, entrepreneurship and economic alternatives.
The governor of the Bolívar state also emphasized that, hand in hand with the regional parliament, consultative and working groups will be designed to contribute to a legislative reform.
“On February 15, in addition to the historical commemoration of this date, the new era of our Bolívar state begins, which, hand in hand with the national legal parameters, begins to give legal status to what we have called the rebirth of Bolívar. ”, he insisted.
