While he had firmly maintained that he had not been to the Stade du 28 Septembre, the day of the 2009 massacre, captain Marcel Guilavogui has just delivered a new version in which he admits having seen Toumba, Thiegoboro, Begré and Makambo there.

Captain Marcel Guilavogui continues his revelations in front of the bar while pushing some of his co-defendants on their presence at the September 28, 2009 stadium. “I did not recognize any soldier from the presidential guard at the stadium, but I personally recognized the Commander Toumba Diakité, Colonel Thiegboro, Beugré and his group. I saw the latter rushing back to the stadium and I also saw Makambo, whom I recognized by his small ax which is still attached to him,” he told the court.

During his first visit, Marcel had maintained that he had not been to the Stadium. He had explained that that day, he was recovering from a traffic accident.
