Marcelo Ríos would have received a million-dollar sum of money for the interview conducted on “We Can Talk,” the Chilevisión conversation program which he attended as a guest.

Although the statements issued in that television space by “Chino” were recorded a few months ago, only this Friday the Paramount channel will broadcast them, allowing viewers to learn about various topics addressed by the former number one in the ATP ranking.

However, the words of the former tennis player would have been very well remunerated, as indicated by Sergio Marabolí in this Thursday’s edition of “Follow me”on TV+ screens.

Topics of such interest as the bond with his wife, the relationship with his children, controversial phrases and facts, projects in the pipeline, among others, were part of the conversation that Ríos had with Julián Elfenbein, who at this stage of absence of the official driver of the show, Jean-Philippe Cretton, takes on the role.

Regarding the figures, Marabolí pointed out that with “Chino” there was the highest payment “that was disbursed for a guest,” specifying that it would be an amount of six zeros.

Specifically, Marcelo would have requested 10 million pesos to participate in the star show, after intense negotiations with the production.

The “Follow Me” panelist assured that CHV’s initial proposal was eight million pesos, in addition to round-trip business tickets from the United States to Chile, but Ríos refused such an offer.

The current businessman proposed that the channel disburse 10 million and he would bear the value of the plane tickets at his own expense.

Then, Chilevsión would have agreed to these terms of the agreement, which meant a greater profit for “Chino” Ríos, since he would have exchanged the tickets with miles accumulated on an airline, so he was able to save the bulk of the cost of the trip.
