The spouse of Karl Tremblay and member of the Cowboys Fringants, Marie-Annick Lépine, published a touching message on her Facebook page Friday followingnoon.

“You will continue to live through our daughters. They inherited a lot from you,” she wrote in the caption of a photo of the sunset which accompanied the death of the Cowboys singer.
She goes on to cite her daughters’ reactions to the death of their father.
“Our beautiful Simone said: ‘Daddy has already ascended to heaven to greet us!’ and our little Pauline replied: “If it was godfather Jean-François who had died, his star would surely not already be there because he is always late!”
“I know you must be laughing right now. They are wonderful. Don’t worry, I’ll take care of it.”
Karl Tremblay died Wednesday evening at the age of 47 from prostate cancer.
