Mario Pacay and Sandra Raxon triumph in the 10K in Guatemala
The vibrant energy of sport invaded the streets of Guatemala City this Saturday, April 20, with the celebration of the long-awaited 10K night race, an event that was marked by the victory of Mario Pacaya and Sandra Raxón.

More than 10 thousand runners gathered to challenge their limits and explore the emblematic points of the city in an atmosphere of healthy competition and camaraderie.
The atmosphere of the race was filled with joy and camaraderie, where participants not only competed to reach the goal, but also enjoyed moments of healthy recreation and promotion of physical activity.
In the men’s competition, Guatemalan runner Mario Pacay stood out by winning the race, demonstrating determination and exceptional performance on a challenging course. “It is an honor to represent my country and succeed in this race,” Pacay said after crossing the finish line.
As for the female category, Sandra Raxón emerged as the winner, consolidating her position as one of the most outstanding athletes in the national sports arena. Raxon shared her happiness and expressed her gratitude for the support of her family and followers.
