Asunción, IP Agency.- For the first time, the Mariscal Estigarribia Regional Hospital, located in the department of Boquerón, has an oxygen distribution system, which strengthens the capacity for diagnosis and care in the Paraguayan Chaco.
This advance represents an important step to improve medical care capacity in the region, making the Mariscal Estigarribia Regional Hospital an even more important reference within the department of Boquerón and its surroundings.
The oxygen distribution system will include oxygen intakes in key areas of the hospital, mainly benefiting the following areas: operating room 1 and 2; neonatology; emergency rooms, as well as offices 1 and 2.
The implementation of this oxygen distribution system is the result of an effort coordinated by the General Directorate of Management of Strategic Health Supplies of the Ministry of Health, with the aim of improving the quality and accessibility of health services in the region.
The health portfolio hopes that this improvement in medical infrastructure will have a significant impact on the response capacity to patients at the Mariscal Estigarribia Regional Hospital.
