MARKET REVIEW. The New York Stock Exchange had a bad day on Tuesday, the worst session in more than a month, weighed down by banks and some corporate results, pending those of the technology sector.

The Toronto Stock Exchange lost more than 200 points, victim of a general decline fueled by its energy sector.

In New York, the S&P 500 retreated 65.41 points (-1.58%) to 4,071.63 points.

The DOW dropped 344.57 points (-1.02%) to 33,530.83 points.
