Marlene Kuntz celebrate thirty years of “Catartica” with a reissue and a tour

With a special dedication to Luca Bergia, historic drummer and founder of Marlene Kuntz who passed away a year ago, Cristiano Godano, frontman and guitarist of the Piedmontese alternative rock group has announced the start of a tour to celebrate thirty years of “Catartica” , their debut album, with a reissue of the album already available.

The tour is already registering the first “sold outs” for the stops in Rome, Florence, Roncade, Bologna and for the double date in Turin.

The album, released in the spring of 1994, was a milestone in the history of Italian music because it contributed decisively to defining the sound of alternative rock of the nineties: “When the album came out – stated the leader, Godano – for us it was the realization of a dream after years of working in the cellar and apprenticeships. Then we started working hard to ensure that the dream remained a reality as much as possible and, after thirty years, we are here.”

While waiting for the release of the reissue of “Catartica”, available on March 8th in CD and double LP format, both with booklet with unpublished photos and a limited and numbered edition Deluxe Box, and for the start of the highly anticipated tour, Marlene Kuntz have decided to pay homage to their fans with new content.
