Martin Bergeron leaves HC Tramelan

Martin Bergeron will no longer be with the band of HC Tramelan. The coach made the decision to leave the 1st ice hockey league team following being at the helm for six seasons. The announcement was made to the team on Saturday evening. “I’ve been a coach for 17 years, I’m a man who doesn’t do things by halves and there’s a mental fatigue that has worked on me all winter,” explains Martin Bergeron. He also believes “that the team may need another speech”. Other projects are in the sights of the Canadian, but he assures that he will not coach any ice hockey team next season.

Martin Bergeron took over the Tramelote formation in the 2nd league when it was on the verge of relegation. He finally managed to raise it to the 1st league last year. But this is not the only pride of the former professional player. “This is one of the Premier League clubs with the most local players,” he rejoices. He is thus convinced that there is a great margin of progress for the team. His team finished 10th in his first season in the 1st league. /lge
