We expected it at this conference: Marvel’s Midnight Suns showed up well at the Disney & Marvel Games Showcase conference. And he even finally found a release date for the occasion.
New images for Marvel’s tactical RPG
A few months ago, we introduced you to our preview de Marvel’s Midnight Suns. A more than promising game that turned out to be much more than just XCOM in the Marvel universe. The title made us indeed a radically different proposal, as much by its approach as by its dynamics. Suffice to say that he is to be watched and we hoped to see him again during this Disney & Marvel Games Showcase.
And as we expected, we got to see new footage from Marvel’s Midnight Suns. We thus discovered a little more gameplay through a short video that you can find in auto-play above. Some characters such as Wolverine have notably appeared. But what was especially important to remember from this short passage is of course the very good news that came to close it: the announcement of the release date. For fans of the genre and the universe, there is something to be impatient about, especially since they have been waiting for it for a while.
After the postponements, a release date
It was during Gamescom 2021 that we learned of the existence of Marvel’s Midnight Suns, a tactical RPG in the Marvel universe, as its name suggests, and signed by the creators of the XCOM series. If the idea was rather attractive, the players had to take their troubles patiently. The title has indeed been postponed many times, three times to be precise. The latest news, the game was supposed to be released before the end of the current fiscal year, that is to say before March 31, 2023. Tonight, we finally had some details and know that the game will be released even before the end of the current year.
