“Mash Founder Frédéric Fourgeaud Dies in Tragic Workshop Accident”

Frédéric Fourgeaud, founder of the motorcycle brand Mash, has died. As the company announced, the 68-year-old died in an accident in his workshop on Saturday followingnoon.

Fourgeaud was initially President of the French two-wheeler importer Sima (Société d’Importation de Motos et d’Accessoires) in 2006 and founded Mash in this function in 2012. The brand builds retro motorcycles from 50 to 650 cubic centimeters, which are made in China. The father of two sons had originally retired. Just eight months following leaving the company, he returned to Sima to take over the business once more. (awm)
