The snowman had to leave “Masked singer” in the premiere – and the leaked list was wrong.
The person behind the mask agreed to the program after pressure from his wife.
– I actually refused several times, they had to nag a bit, he says to Aftonbladet.
The Mountain Troll, the Disco Ball, the Alarm Clock, the UFO, the Chameleon and the Snowman were the six masks that were the first to face each other in the season premiere of “Masked Singer”, which is hosted by David Hellenius while the celebrity panel with Felix Herngren, Nour El Refai, Måns Zelmerlöw and Pernilla wahlgren struggled to figure out who is hiding behind the masks.
In the end it was the Snowman who was forced to leave the competition.

Chameleons
- Song: Zara Larsson – ”Can’t tame her”
- Possible clues: Shark, 64 million, police, popcorn.
- The chameleon’s own description:
– I understand that it is impossible to see me, the Chameleon. I am colorful and confident in my role. But many people probably think I’m out on slippery ice. I am a child of our time. As the shapeshifter that I am, I can act in any situation, such as in a police car, in captivity and with a parent. When I broke through with the thin, colorful border, I quickly reached the peaks from the opposite. I got the entire Swedish people down if the popularity polls are to be believed. My language is shaped by my surroundings and I enjoy it. It gives me freedom to live out my dream. Don’t call me nepo baby, but I’m still grateful. And tonight I celebrate myself. Almost everything I do is colored by cupid and disorder, so hold on, because now the chameleon is sliding onto the scene. - The panel’s guesses:

Felix: Gizem Erdogan. - An additional clue: A slate with the text “Trigonometry of the Chameleon”, a heart, a star and a cross enters the scene. The chameleon says: “I want to teach you about my three legs. The first leg represents when I met love. You could say it was a success story. The second leg represents parts of me that were buried. The star stands for when I was born, and there was no talk of what my name would be. You might think I’m a teacher, but I always let someone else lead’.

The snowman

- Possible clues: Norrländijk, Italy, shoes, Felix Herngren, Obama, Dolly Parton, USA.
- The snowman’s own description:
– Here you have me, the Snowman. Hello Hello. With hard work and my nose in the right place, I have managed to make my own way through life. Everyone is welcome at my place, Ture or Sture. When my friends have needed me, I have always tried to stand up. Even if I risked dizziness. Fortunately, I have access to good medical care. I never differentiate between people and people. Here I like to sit like a real slipper and drink my best cup. It is pure pleasure. I can make all your problems disappear without a trace. I obviously have a place in the celebrity drum. My ice cold look has made many fall and I have been part of the world’s coolest gang. Look up the hill, 37 holes in the neck. Here I come. - Possible clues: A castle, red lamp, medal from the king, hospital, women’s symbol, math numbers, Klara Hammarström.
- The mountain troll’s own description:
– Who is stepping on my bridge? No one gets past here, because I am the Mountain Troll. It’s not the first time my appearance has sparked debate, but I’ve always loved to communicate. No one counted on me when I came into the world, not even my own mother. I was a shy alpine violet, but I started to believe in myself more when I joined a coven. Some decisions I have made have saved lives, but often I have also had to defend myself. Even though it was tough, I got votes that made me historic. This is how I figured it out. Monitoring a situation and then making an analysis has been my specialty. You have to keep up, but sometimes it can unfortunately go like a whirlwind, even for a troll. It is said that my hall is crammed with gold and treasure, and I can confirm that. But the greatest treasure of them all is that I managed to solve my heart issue. - The panel’s guesses:

Disco

- Possible clues: School corridor, American football, Måns Zelmerlöw, Roxette, punching bag, rock ring, Zlatan, The Joker.
- The disco ball’s own description:
– I can bet that your legs twitch when the Disco ball rolls in. My fast feet have been dictated to. Call me a player if you want, you can’t win without betting, and I’ve done that many times, both at work and privately. But I don’t really feel like doing anything. I’m stuck on pictures with both international royalty and with Benny. I love dunka, dunka and have also borrowed music from Per and Marie. I stepped up my game when everyone in Sweden was still sleeping. Then a new superpower appeared. Sometimes my ambitions have provoked, but also led me to my ringed goal. It is important that the result is one hundred percent, regardless of whether I perform in the national arena or together with megastars abroad. – Throw yourself into the wall Felix, because here comes the Ufot. My craft is incredibly expensive to operate and my extraterrestrial powers have been seen in many different star skies. Pushing the right buttons makes a motherfucking nice tune, excuse the vocabulary, and sometimes it can be a bug in the system. Okay, did you fart it now? Then you have to hold your breath. It was nice to find a group that was on board. I became an organist and even got to play the first violin. I have experienced sick idolatry, but it has only been positive. I have always dreamed of fame and today several million people have seen my moves. It’s exciting to see how you earthlings dance to my pipe. Even if you’ve been looking for me, Felix, you’ve missed the UFO every time I’ve visited. But my creations have touches of another universe that are so vanishingly good that many are moved to tears. - The panel’s guesses:

The alarm clock
- Song: Wrapper – “Cha cha cha”.
- Possible clues: Second hand shop, Noel Flike and Ludwig Kronstand of Hov1, London, toaster, Macarena dance.
- The alarm clock’s own description:
– Time to wake up! I keep track of when the hour has struck because I am the Alarm Clock. You are never sad when the sun has risen. Every now and then I have something that fits, patterns and materials are my backyard. It meant that I had to be the face of hundreds of thousands of people. The court wanted to invite to lunch, but I couldn’t put it together because my time is short. I go fast when I’m having fun, I discovered Sweden’s biggest folk trend before half the panel. I was colorful early on and was one step ahead of Timbuktu. My name is adjusted, and imagine, I got to meet my source of inspiration when the clock struck nine. Now David has to take care, because I go and go and I never get to the door. But I always arrive on time for the programs. - The panel’s guesses:

Pernilla: Ann Westin or Kalle Moraeus.
Måns: Babben or David Sundin.
Felix: Jon Henrik Fjällgren. - An additional hint: Has extensive experience in love affairs, also at work.
She hid under the Snowman’s mask in “Masked singer”
In the end it was the Snowman who went out after the panel and the audience voted.
The jury guessed at, among other things Pepe Eng, Loa Falkman and Christer Lindarw. But under the mask hid none other than the football legend Thomas Brolin54. The revelation made Måns Zelmerlöw, who mentioned Brolin’s name during the course of the program, roar with joy.
Brolin says to Aftonbladet that despite his victory, he did not think the loss was a defeat.
– I can take that hit! It was great fun to be a part of, but I have no problem at all with going out. I really do have a winner’s skull usually, but I had no ambitions to become a new rock singer or win the show. I take this loss for the team, he says, laughing.

“They had to nag a little”
Was it obvious to accept the program?
– Not at all, I actually refused several times, they had to nag a bit. My wife knew about it and she thought it could be a fun thing, in the end I agreed. I wanted to do something that is totally outside my comfort zone, you’re 50-plus anyway so it’s probably time-
Singing in front of all of Sweden felt like a challenge.
– It’s not really my thing, you can sing at home. But now there were any number of people watching.

The list had an error
You’re still used to performing in front of large audiences, how was this different?
– Absolutely, but this was a hell of a difference. I know I can do football, but this was outside my comfort zone deluxe, you could say.
One of the jury’s guesses was Loa Falkman…What did you think of that?
– Yes, it was a very flattering guess, haha. They compare my voice to Loas, then you still have to thank and receive!
In previous years, TV4 has had major problems with all the celebrities being revealed in advance, and ten days before this year’s premiere, a list of the alleged participants in the program was leaked on the online forum Flashback. But the name on the list doesn’t match the Tomas Brolin reveal, meaning the list is wrong on at least one point.
“The guessing game in ‘Masked singer’ is now on and there will always be claims of lists and revelations, and I’ll say it again, those who want to know who is hiding behind the masks need to wait for the premiere”, has Anika Beclijevskiexecutive producer, previously wrote for Aftonbladet.
The clues explained:
- Tomas loves Christmas and posts a lot about Christmas on Instagram.
- The nose in the right place: Tomas started playing in Näsvikens IK as a six-year-old.
- The snowman did a spin and said he risks vertigo, referring to Tomas Brolin’s classic victory gesture.
- Has access to good medical care: Brolin is good friends with Doctor Alban.
- “Pure pleasure” refers to Tomas selling accessories for vacuum cleaners.
- “Watch out on the hill, 37 holes in your neck,” shouted the Snowman. Tomas is inducted as number 37 in Swedish football’s Hall of Fame.
- The snowman said he was used to body contact, it’s through the tackles of football.
