A fire broke out this Sunday, June 25, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. in the Peter farm located in Rannergëssel in Thiaumont in the Attert entity.
The fire broke out at the shed which housed horses, agricultural machinery and hay. The outbuilding is completely damaged and the fire even pierced the roof.
Firefighters from Arlon, Etalle, Aubange and Virton, as well as an officer on site, were able to save the adjoining main building as the fire progressed.
In the middle of the followingnoon, the firefighters were still on site in order to completely extinguish the disaster, which is now under control.
